Beyou Ciel is a celebrated Congolese vocalist best known for her contributions to the Soukous and Congolese Rhumba genres during the late 1980s and early 1990s. She rose to international prominence as a member of Afrisa International, the legendary ensemble led by Tabu Ley Rochereau. Often performing alongside her sister, Faya Tess, Ciel was part of the "post-M’bilia Bel" era of the band, providing the sophisticated vocal harmonies and vibrant stage presence that defined the group's transition into a more modern, global sound.
