Osman Abderrehim (Osman Abdulrahim): Considered a pioneer of modern Eritrean music and sometimes called the "Godfather of Eritrean Soul music." He rose to prominence in the "swinging Asmara" music scene of the early 1960s and is known for his unique singing style, melodic tunes, and music that covered themes from love to the independence movement.
