Ladysmith Black Mambazo is a Grammy Award-winning South African male choral group founded by Joseph Shabalala in the 1960s.
They sing a cappella in the traditional Zulu style called isicathamiya, which features soft, powerful harmonies and signature dance moves.
The group achieved global fame after collaborating with Paul Simon on his 1986 album Graceland, most notably on the song "Homeless."
Designated "South Africa's Cultural Ambassadors to the World" by Nelson Mandela, their music of peace and hope has had a profound international impact. The group is now led by Shabalala's sons.
