Lutchiana Mobulu, known as Lutchiana 100%, is a Congolese singer, songwriter, and bandleader who rose to prominence in the Soukous and Congolese Rumba scenes of the 1980s and 1990s. He started his career in Kinshasa performing alongside Pepe Kalle’s Empire Bakuba, later forming his own backing band, Orchestre Karawa Musica, and moving to Europe to reach the international market. He achieved widespread success with his 1992 album Foulalé, which featured the hit track "Eki Bis" and earned him his permanent nickname from its famous dancefloor chants. In his later career, he expanded his musical style on albums like Fogo by blending fast-paced guitar rhythms with smooth Afro-Zouk melodies.
